I thought I could get to where I wanted by doing it my way. Getting different courses to succeed in business, do the things others were doing to get my dream body, get that persons job to "drive a car like that."
You know when it all changed? When I gave my life to Jesus Christ of Nazereth. The only begotten Son of God. He showed me my purpose and it sure wasn't to be like the next person. If God wanted you to be that person, then He would've made you to be them.
I'm here to say that you have a purpose and its more amazing than you think. It's more fulfilling than chasing things of this world. What it is? I don't know. That's between you and God. Don't seek verification from the world. "They" don't know what you need and who you were made to be.
If you have goals, dreams, passions, lay them in the Lord's hands and watch him direct you, one step at a time.
It says in the Bible, "In their hearts, humans plan their way, but the Lord establishes their steps" (Proverbs 16:9) and "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you." (Psalm 32:8)
Give God your plans, He knows exactly what to do with them.
